Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and versatile ICT Trainer to support the school's digital learning initiatives, Infocomm Club activities, AV operations, and makerspace programmes. The successful candidate will conduct structured ICT training programmes, support students and teachers in the use of educational technology tools, and assist in multimedia, broadcasting, and makerspace activities within the school environment. CCA Training & ICT Programmes Conduct structured computing programmes on coding using Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Micro:bit, and MakeCode Arcade Conduct structured computing programmes on app development using Thunkable and GameSalad Conduct structured computing programmes on 3D printing using Tinkercad and SketchUp Conduct structured computing programmes on graphics using Inkscape Conduct structured computing programmes on 'Learning with iPad' as part of the 1:1 Personalised Learning Device Programme Conduct structured computing programmes on Learning Management Systems such as Student Learning Space, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Apple Classroom Conduct structured computing programmes on EdTech tools such as gamification, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) Maintain IT tools and software used for ICT programmes, workshops, and project work AV Systems & Multimedia Support Assist Infocomm Club teachers-in-charge in conducting student AV training and supporting school events and functions Assist in the maintenance of the school PA system Assist in setting up and hosting live streaming of school events using OBS Assist students with video production and edit videos for school events using Final Cut Pro Monitor and promote the use of the Recording Studio among students Provide technical and multimedia support for school activities and programmes Makerspace Support Conduct and organise makerspace workshops and activities Maintain the makerspace and related equipment Assist students in the use of makerspace equipment and maker tools Teaching & Learning Support Assist in providing ICT and EdTech training workshops for teachers Co-teach lower secondary Project Work in coding using the Design Thinking framework Support digital learning initiatives and ICT-integrated programmes within the school Administrative & General Support Assist in any other tasks assigned by the HOD ICT, SH ICT, ICT Manager, Principal, and Vice-Principals Support the planning, coordination, and smooth operation of ICT-related activities and events Requirements
ITE or Diploma qualification in an IT-related discipline Professional certifications in relevant ICT or multimedia areas are an advantage Knowledge and ability to teach the use of Apple hardware and application ecosystem, including iPads and Personal Learning Devices Knowledge and ability to teach the use of EdTech tools and platforms Familiarity with app development tools such as Thunkable and GameSalad Familiarity with 3D printing tools such as Tinkercad and SketchUp Knowledge of programming platforms including Scratch, Micro:bit, MakeCode Arcade, and Swift Playgrounds Proficient in productivity tools such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Proficient in creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, video editing, and photo editing software Familiar with collaborative learning tools such as Padlet and Classkick Knowledge of gamification, AR, and VR tools such as Reality Composer Knowledge and ability to operate AV systems and broadcasting tools such as OBS Knowledge and ability to teach the use of maker tools and makerspace equipment Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and school stakeholders Strong team player with good organisational and multitasking abilities
