Executive, Material Master Data (GC/SW), Ang Mo Kio

Job Summary: The Material Master Data Business Professional is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of material master data across the organization. This role ensures accurate and consistent data entry, governance, and optimization to support business processes, reporting, and system migrations (e.g., ECC to S4 HANA). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a proactive, can-do approach to problem-solving. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data standards, resolve data issues, and drive continuous improvement in data quality and usability.
Key Responsibilities: Data Management:
assist to extract and analyse Master Data from SAP ECC and identify areas of anomalies to assist in creating compelling business case for support implementation of Material and Service Master Data governance implementation. Governance Support:
Assist in implementing and enforcing data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices. Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, finance, and IT to align material master data with business needs. Issue Resolution:
Identify, analyse, and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies to ensure data integrity. Process Improvement:
Propose and implement enhancements to data entry processes, workflows, and tools to improve efficiency and quality. Reporting & Analysis:
Generate reports and provide insights on material master data quality, usage, and performance metrics. System Migration Support:
Support data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities during system migrations or upgrades (e.g., ECC to S4 HANA). Training & Support:
Provide guidance and training to end-users on material master data processes and tools.
Qualifications: Minimum diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field with good excel & analytics skills. Proven experience in material master data management, data governance, or a similar role. Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S4 HANA) and material master data structures. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. Knowledge of data governance principles, analytics and best practices is a plus. Good in PPT, excel, power BI, Tableau.
