What
Where
Logistics Assistant Manager (MNC / Clementi / Warehouse)Oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers or internal stakeholders.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
2. Process Improvement & Efficiency
Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Support automation and system improvements through Kaizen.
Ensure proper documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are maintained and followed.
3. Inventory Control
Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize losses or damages.
Liaise with transporters, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Coordinate with internal departments to align logistics activities.
5. Team Supervision
Supervise and provide guidance and direction to subordinates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
Interprets and communicates work procedure and company policies to subordinates
Provide training and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
Assist in manpower planning and performance monitoring.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, ISO and local authorities’ requirements.
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Support audits and ensure proper record-keeping.
7. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs.
Analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or relevant field
Minimum 4 ~ 5 years’ experience in similar role in inventory, distribution and operation
Demonstrate ability to lead and manage a team of staff
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Knowledge of IATF16949 / ISO9001 requirements
