Synopsis of Holiday Inn:

The film is composed of a series of musical segments, directed by Mark Sandrey, known for his musical epics. Each song uses American holidays as a theme, cleverly focusing on a pair of rivals. This film was nominated for Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score at the 15th Academy Awards in 1943!


At a roadside hotel, two young partners, Hardy and Henovo, both fall in love with the same girl. Despite initially gaining the upper hand in the pursuit of love, Henovo (played by renowned dancer Fred Astaire) ultimately loses to Hardy (played by famous singer Bing Crosby). Hardy is a laid-back man who loves music. He retired to rural New England, and his farm becomes an entertainment center during holidays...
