Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client provides solutions mainly for the semiconductor, automation, smart factory, and automotive vision industries.

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks based on engineering requirements and concepts.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, including GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and material specifications.
• Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to refine designs and ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards.
• Update and maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and CAD data management.
• Support prototyping, testing, and production by providing accurate technical drawings and resolving design issues.
• Demonstrate a hands‑on attitude by supporting prototype builds, performing basic assembly checks, and troubleshooting design issues directly on parts or assemblies.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 year relevant experience.
• Good knowledge, ability, and competency in SolidWorks.
• Good understanding of mechanical design and technical drawings.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks).

• Location: Tampines
• Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
• Working Days/Hours: 5 days, office hours.
