Product Development Manager (Insurance MNC), Singapore

• Location: Raffles Place
• Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

Reporting to the Team Lead (Medical & Health) – Consumer Propositions, you will work on medical and health propositions to support the company in delivering product rollouts for both long‑term and short‑term strategic directions and business needs.

You will have the opportunity to work on medical and health product lines (e.g., Integrated Shield plans, supplementary plans, hospital cash plans, long‑term care products, etc.) across our distribution partners (agency, bancassurance, and direct sales channels).

• Managing short‑term objectives (via products, campaigns and ad‑hoc requests)
• Assist in the upstream product development cycle to ensure smooth product rollout (from concept to approval and marketing materials)
• Engage relevant stakeholders in downstream discussions to ensure products launch on schedule
• Improve clarity of policy contracts by simplifying technical language, restructuring sections, and creating concise summaries; collaborate with legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Seek and incorporate feedback from internal teams and end‑users to enhance accessibility and transparency of the policy contract
• Prepare product documentation including Product Write‑Up, Policy Contract, Product Summary, and other customer documents (where applicable)
• Handle product queries from internal/external stakeholders and resolve distribution and implementation issues
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards (including MAS, MOH, LIA) and company policies
• Future‑proof innovations for longer‑term strategic directions
• Assist in competitive analysis for medical and health product lines to understand the company's strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors
• Assist in groundwork preparation for research and deep dives into strategic directions set by the Consumer Propositions Team
• Assist in prototyping propositions and conduct consumer research to obtain insights and feedback

• Tertiary education in Actuarial, Insurance, Finance, or Marketing related disciplines
• 4–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in product development
• Good understanding of the Singapore insurance market and ongoing trends
• Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and good communication skills to articulate ideas in a simplified, layman manner to stakeholders
• Open‑minded, curious, and driven to explore new ideas; able to think out‑of‑the‑box
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, and comfortable engaging diverse stakeholders
• Action and project‑oriented individual focused on improvement and change; able to work under pressure or tight timelines
