Compliance Officer (KYC/SOW), Singapore

We are looking for a dedicated Compliance Officer to focus on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Source of Wealth (SOW) processes. Your primary goal will be to ensure all client profiles meet the latest regulatory and internal standards. You will work closely with Client Advisors to fill information gaps and ensure every file is accurate and complete.

Work arrangement: Onsite

Contract term: 1 year with opportunity of extension based on performance

Salary: Up to 6,000/month

• Assist Client Advisors in fixing gaps in client SOW profiles to meet current standards.
• Ensure all SOW and corroboration documents on file are updated to the newest requirements.
• Write and enhance SOW narratives, including details on wealth drivers, plausibility justifications, and materiality assessments.
• Independently validate and verify corroboration documents.
• Promptly escalates any AML red flags to the AML team or Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
• Work with QA checkers to fix quality issues and perform name screenings when needed.
• Assist with special projects and team initiatives as required.

• 3 years experience in Compliance with 1 to 2 years experience in KYC/AML/SOW.
• Private banking KYC/AML is highly preferred.
• Candidates must have a background in Banking, Fintech, or Crypto (applicants from Investment or Insurance backgrounds will not be considered for this specific role).
• Proficient in using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to work independently and meet set performance targets.
