Join a dynamic team where you can drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects in productivity, cost, and quality enhancement. Responsibilities
Understand and utilize customer Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support operations. Maintain and control documents in accordance with the Quality Management System (ISO9001 & AS9120). Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations on budgets, manpower, materials handling equipment, and space/layout requirements. Mentor and coach colleagues on Lean methodologies, Business Excellence, and Six Sigma concepts. Identify value stream waste and implement Lean principles to eliminate inefficiencies. Facilitate the execution of various Operations Excellence programs, including Site Classification Assessment, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives. Collaborate with site management to drive performance improvement projects and process changes. Support different departments with Operations Excellence strategies and promote company initiatives. Lead key improvement initiatives to enhance business goals and objectives, ensuring timely execution and documentation of results. Work closely with operations teams to develop and deploy improvement opportunities with strategic action plans. Promote a continuous improvement (Kaizen) culture, providing necessary training and coaching for quality Kaizen projects. Engage in the Site Classification Assessment deployment, offering expert guidance on Lean metrics and tools. Analyze data using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL to create insightful reports on performance metrics. Oversee the preparation and review of Lean reports, ensuring timely submissions. Assist in training and documentation related to the WMS systems. Requirements
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills. Effective negotiation, influential, and persuasive abilities. Relevant experience in supply chain management, logistics, process engineering, or industrial engineering, with knowledge of ERP systems considered essential. Previous involvement in improvement projects and familiarity with Lean methodology and process enhancements are advantageous.
