Lead Lab QC Analyst (Chemistry, 12 Hours Rotating Shift), Singapore

Our client is an established player in the Chemical Manufacturing industry seeking a Lead QC Analyst to anchor their laboratory operations on Jurong Island. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in analytical rigour and thrives in a dynamic, shift‑based environment.

• Remuneration Package: Up to $4,000 + Monthly Allowances $1,000 (Experienced Candidates)
• Annual Bonus: AWS + Company Variable and Performance Bonus
• Location: Jurong Island (company transport provided to/from Jurong Island)
• Shift: 12‑Hour Rotating Shifts

You’ll be the go‑to authority in the QC lab, owning everything from routine analysis to complex investigations and stepping up as the lab lead outside of core hours.

• Perform routine and non‑routine QC analysis across raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products
• Interpret results independently and make sound decisions to support process control
• Take full ownership of laboratory operations during off‑hours shifts
• Lead short‑term projects including non‑routine testing and customer complaint investigations
• Maintain equipment calibration and ensure the lab runs at peak condition
• Liaise cross‑functionally to uphold quality and compliance standards
• Mentor and onboard new analysts, building a stronger team around you

• Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of QC experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within chemicals or a related process industry
• Solid grasp of quality management systems and laboratory best practices
• Sharp analytical thinking with high attention to detail
• Self‑driven and confident working independently on rotating 12‑hour shifts
• Clear, professional communication – both written and verbal
