Overview

Mott MacDonald Singapore is currently recruiting a Structural Engineer (Graduate) to work in our Building Structures team. Within this role you will support the detailed design of civil & structural engineering and calculations, technical reporting, and support engineering tasks across a wide range of award‑winning building projects. These projects include Changi Airport Terminal 5, civic and institutional projects, commercial and mixed‑use developments. We are dedicated to delivering large infrastructure projects, to make a positive change for those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, outline and carry out detailed design of civil and structural engineering designs and calculations.
  • Prepare method statement and engineering proposal.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and authority organisations.
  • Visit construction sites to carry out site inspection and site supervision.
  • Coordinate with various parties (team members, clients, government authorities) on design and stakeholder interface.
  • Liaise and work together within the project team of engineers and drafters.
  • Support ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
About You
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Strong interest and passion in pursuing structural design engineering in a consultancy environment.
  • A digital aptitude, strong learning mindset and interest to commit to driving social and sustainable outcomes in all that we do.
  • Collaborative, open, and constructive approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team player who is enthusiastic, driven and committed.
