REGIONAL LEGAL COUNSEL | GLOBAL INSURTECH PLATFORM, Singapore

Our Client is a leading global InsurTechplatform provider transforming the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurancelandscape through API-driven, modular core systems. With an establishedpresence in the U.S. market, the organisation partners with insurance carriers, MGAs and system integrators to enable next-generation insurance operationsacross policy, billing, claims and distribution.

Reporting to regional leadership, this rolesits at the intersection of legal, business, and operations, supportingcommercial activities and legal governance across Southeast Asia and APACmarkets. You will play a key role in managing legal risks, enabling businessexpansion, and strengthening legal and compliance frameworks across theorganisation.

• Drive, manage, and participate incontract negotiations with clients, business partners, and suppliers acrossSoutheast Asia and APAC
• Draft, review, and interpret a wide range of commercial contracts and legaldocuments
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations across multiplejurisdictions
• Support and advise on, or lead resolution of, disputes and legal mattersacross Southeast Asia, North Asia, and other regions
• Develop and optimize contract templates and legal frameworks to supportevolving business needs
• Support corporate development initiatives and cross-border legal coordination
• Handle labor and employment-related matters when required
• Draft and enhance compliance policies in line with regulatory updates andbusiness requirements
• Provide ongoing legal and compliance support across business functions

Bachelor’s degree in Law with 6–13 yearsof experience, ideally from a reputable law firm,MNC, or high-growth startup. Experience in TMT / internet / cloud ortechnology-related industries is preferred. Strong capability in contractdrafting and negotiation is required, with the ability to handlecross-border / multi-jurisdictional matters. Candidates should demonstratestrong communication skills, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability towork effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
