Sales Specialists are responsible for driving the LSEG strategy for growth and market differentiation. You will act as a subject matter specialist in support of Account Managers focusing on sales for the Investment Banking proposition in Singapore, lead deals aligned to specific propositions, and serve accounts within a defined territory in partnership with internal partners to proactively drive gross sales and revenue.
Responsibilities- Hunt, structure, negotiate, and close deals.
- Develop the sales strategy for the Investment Banking proposition within your territory.
- Proactively identify pipeline opportunities in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Provide insights and share LSEG thought leadership on the proposition with customers.
- Deliver customer demonstrations on specific propositions.
- Strategic territory planning and execution.
- Organize and complete a sales plan.
- Bankers from Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, M&A, DCM, ECM, Syndicated loans, Public financing, Project finance, Joint ventures, and more.
- Degree or equivalent experience in finance or banking; industry qualifications; CFA preferred.
- Over 5 years of industry, sales, or market experience.
- Proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment.
- Experience selling to C-level executives.
- Deep market understanding.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, financial modelling, Excel, and MS Office.
- Technical knowledge of APIs, feeds, and Python.
- Strong selling skills (hunter mentality) and consultative selling ability.
- Excellent communication and closing skills.
- Creative thinker and good sales conceptualization skills.
- Strategic territory planning and execution skills.
Leads routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Provides input to department objectives and goals of a sub-Business Unit or function. May lead budgets for small projects or programs. Advises middle management on functional matters and policy interpretation. Makes strategic recommendations that may shape operational strategy. Independently resolves sophisticated or undefined problems, identifying best solutions.
