HR & Operations Manager (Overseas Based), Singapore

We are seeking an experienced HR & Operations Manager to oversee both human resourcesfunctions and daily operational processes in our Japan office.

This is a fast-paced,overseas-based role. It is critical in ensuring smooth business operations, supporting organizational growth, and building astrong internal structure. You will be responsible for managing HR processes, improving operational efficiency, and acting as a key support to leadership indriving business performance.

Initial 3–6months based in Kuala Lumpur (KL), followed by relocation to Japan. Full relocation support provided, including visa sponsorship and housing.

• Oversee full HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Manage employee relations and handle HR-related matters
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Japan labour laws and regulations

• Manage daily business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and optimize operational processes and workflows
• Coordinate with different departments to support business activities
• Monitor operational performance and identify improvement areas
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and cost control

• Act as a liaison between management and internal teams
• Support leadership in executing strategic initiatives
• Ensure alignment across teams and smooth communication
• Handle ad-hoc projects and operational challenges

• 5–8 years of experience in HR, Operations, or a combined role
• Strong understanding of HR practices and Japan employment regulations
• Experience in operations management and process improvement
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in SaaS, tech, or fast-growing companies
• Experience supporting regional or international teams
• Knowledge of HR systems and operational tools
• Background in startup or scaling environments

• Structured transition from KL onboarding (3–6 months) to full relocation in Japan
