Network Deployment Build Lead I, Global Network Delivery, Singapore

The Global Network Delivery organization is looking to hire a highly motivated, best‑in‑class Network Project Lead to join our growing team within AWS Data Center Delivery. The candidate will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and to develop innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand.

• Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
• Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter‑connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
• Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
• Reasonable additional hours required as part of the project delivery requirements.

We’re a team that works within AWS Data Center Delivery, engaging with network engineering, supply chain, procurement, and technical program management. Our environment is fast‑paced, collaborative, and requires autonomy and strong communication skills.

• 2+ years of computer networking experience
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in computer networking
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Expertise in network infrastructure, including cabling systems, fiber optics, diagnostic tools, and network fundamentals. The ideal candidate will leverage this technical knowledge to lead teams and optimize project delivery.

• Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)
• Strong analytical skills and multi‑tasking ability, with proven success in data‑driven decision making and stakeholder management at all levels.
