Description
Key Responsibilities Manage daily procurement activities, including sourcing products, comparing costs, preparing quotations, negotiating prices, placing orders, and following up on deliveries. Coordinate with the operations and sales teams to complete orders. Maintain accurate purchase, pricing, and invoice records, and ensure invoices match the PO/DO. Build and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers. Review supplier options and handle disputes with customers/suppliers when needed. Review approved vendors regularly and comply with ISO and internal policies. Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Education and Work Experience . Possess minimum a Diploma in related field with at least 5 years of relevant working experience (Ship chandler) . Strong analytical and negotiation skills. . Able to work independently in fast-pace environment handling high volume transactions . A great team player with proactive attitude . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and problem-solving skills. . Proficient in MS Excel, and experience with CheckSCM is an added advantage . Prior procurement experience relating to Hotel Engineering or Facility Management is highly preferred.
