Construction Contracts Manager, Singapore

About the Role You will be the strategic lead for all commercial and financial aspects of the company's MEP projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee both pre- and post-contract management to maximize margins while mitigating contractual risks.
Responsibilities Lead the full contract lifecycle management process, including pre and post contract administration, tender evaluations, contract negotiations, variation orders, and claims management. Ensure full compliance with regulations and statutory requirements set by BCA/MOM, and other relevant authorities. Manage main contracts and subcontract agreements to ensure timely execution, effective risk management, and back-to-back contractual alignment. Prepare, review, and manage contractual correspondence, notices, claims submissions, and complex cost variation documentation. Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow to maintain strong financial control and achieve project profitability targets. Oversee monthly progress claims, payment certifications, and final account settlements, particularly during project close-out stages. Drive margin improvement initiatives through cost control strategies, value engineering, and waste reduction measures. Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial, financial, and contractual risks across multiple ongoing projects. Ensure adherence to company policies and the organization's Business Code of Conduct. Support audit activities, insurance-related matters, and formal dispute resolution processes, including adjudication under SOPA.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Required Skills Strong commercial management experience in the M&E industry, with extensive project exposure in Singapore. Well versed in standard Singapore construction contracts, including PSSCOC and SIA forms. Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
