Description

Responsibilities

Formulate strategies around upstream/downstream procurement: Planning, Execution, Review, Renewals, Procurement Excellence.
Serve as business partners to Business Units Heads / HODs, and stakeholders to understand needs and define short- and long-term business priorities.
Oversee procurement day-to-day activities, manage timelines, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and monitor progress to goals.
Present in-depth reviews of critical procurement proposals to leadership for approval.
Drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement contract management.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.
Develop sensitivity models (change in material costs, supply risk) to proactively manage P&L volatility.
Drive continuous improvements in sourcing, support, governance, projects & excellence.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and support business objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and provide strategic guidance and support.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
