Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual designs, technical sketches, 3D models, and physical prototypes for next-generation spray systems and digital control interfaces.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DfM) principles to optimize product designs, simplify assembly processes, reduce part complexity, and ensure compatibility with existing manufacturing systems.
Develop, document, and standardize end-to-end manufacturing workflows to ensure consistent production quality and operational efficiency.
Support the development and scaling of local manufacturing capabilities to meet regional production requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline such as Electromechanical or Systems Engineering from a recognized institution.
3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, preferably in industrial equipment or machine-building environments.
Proven experience in transitioning product designs from concept and prototyping to full-scale production workflows.
Experience in leading technical projects or small teams, with strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, sales, and production teams.
Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM tools such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, and materials science related to spray technology applications.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems, PLC programming, and sensor integration is an advantage.
Familiarity with industrial standards such as CE compliance and quality management systems.
Strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges during prototyping and production phases.
Good communication skills to translate technical requirements into actionable insights for sales and manufacturing teams, and to collaborate effectively with vendors.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Resourceful, resilient, creative, and positive personality with strong interpersonal skills.
