Quantity Surveyor (Security Systems Projects), Singapore

The Quantity Surveyor manages all cost and contractual aspects ofsecurity systems projects, ensuring financial control, profitability, andcompliance with contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for security systems projects Analyze project costs including equipment (cameras, servers, storage, cabling, fibre) Evaluate subcontractor quotations specific to security and ELV systems Manage progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts Track project expenditure and ensure cost efficiency Support procurement of security systems and related infrastructure Administer contracts in accordance with industry standards Provide cost advice to project teams and management Maintain proper documentation for claims and financial reporting Requirements Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 3-8 years of experience in security systems / ELV / ICT project cost management Strong knowledge of contracts (FIDIC, SIA, or equivalent) Familiarity with CCTV, VMS, access control costing and BOQ preparation Strong analytical and negotiation skills
