Senior Sales Specialist (TIS), Singapore

The Sales Specialist role is responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for all the Cardiology Interventional products, solutions and services in an assigned territory, and/or in a list of named accounts individually or as part of the Terumo Asia Holding Singapore Commercial team. The Sales Specialist provides field support for the portfolio and uses the customer and competitor clinical knowledge gained from those interactions to adapt and execute the product marketing plan accordingly while working within the framework of contributing to society through healthcare and all Terumo Corporation social and ethical guidelines.

• Achieve annual territory sales target by implementing company approved strategic marketing and sales plans. Regular reviewing of sales dashboards and preparation of monthly/quarterly sales reports, sales forecast, and other reports to ensure sales achievements are on track.
• Build new and maintain existing strategic relationships with key clients, key decision makers, KOLs by making periodic visits for new opportunities and gaining commitment to purchase. Continuously identify prospective customers and represent Terumo in the best possible light for potential sales conversion. Understand the customer’s objectives, buying criteria and decision‑making processes, and form long‑term business partnerships.
• Build strong clinical relationships with customers by presenting the clinical value proposition of Terumo Cardiology Interventional products and solutions. Demonstrate full knowledge of all products, relevant selling points and benefits, overcome client objections and continuously improve these skills. Effectively drive the selling process and sales monitoring by conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and providing clinical training and support.
• Support Sales Manager to work closely with the Regional Marketing team on execution of events and activities for customers. Support Sales Manager on sales coaching to Sales Specialists in the team. Keep abreast of competitor activity to recommend necessary tactical action for new opportunities.
• Consignment Inventory & Billing Management: Perform consignment stock take in assigned territory. Initiate daily top‑up process through 3PL distributor. Monitor daily usage and work on billing processes. Perform consignment rotation and minimize discrepancies.
• Others: Attend company meetings, attend and participate in company event/activities, comply with company policies.
• All other duties as required.

• Suitable for the role, e.g., health sciences or nursing.
• 3‑5 years of experience in intervention cardiology, radio/oncology products is an advantage.
• Prior sales, product and clinical experience in a similar position required.
• Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships in the assigned accounts or area.
• Functional/Technical Skills: Experience with needs assessment, instructional design, curriculum development, delivery and program coordination.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, analytical, clinical and presentation skills.
• Self‑starter with strong results orientation and success in moving business toward long‑term goals.
