The Company A well-established financial services company is seeking a Finance Officer for a 6-months' contract to join its dynamic team. The Role The role is responsible for supporting full-set accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. The role involves reviewing and clearing accounting backlogs, accurately posting journal entries, and managing the Accounts Payable mailbox to ensure timely and professional responses. Additional responsibilities include processing payments via multiple banking platforms, partnering with Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to facilitate fund transfers and journal entries, and performing detailed bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Your Profile The role requires proven ability to perform in high-volume, fast-paced environments, ideally with experience in financial services or banking. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, with a good understanding of basic accounting principles, are required.
