Associate (1-2PQE) - Insurance Coverage & Disputes, Singapore

As part of the continued growth of our regional insurance practice, the international insurance team based in Singapore is seeking a 1-2PQE associate to support the team on a range of insurance coverage matters and disputes. The Associate will report to Partner, Priya Gobal. This is an exciting opportunity for a top-quality Associate to join a Band‑1 market‑leading team which focuses on regional, complex and high‑value coverage matters across a range of insurance business lines including Financial Lines, Casualty, Credit Risk and Reinsurance.

• Assist Partners on a range of complex and large‑scale insurance matters.
• Research and draft documentation, advice and correspondence.
• Help oversee a broad range of contentious matters and litigation activities, including the conduct of arbitration and management of local counsel in contentious matters globally.
• Assist the Partners in managing and building client relationships, including business development activities for key existing clients and new clients.

• Singapore qualified.
• Solid private‑practice background with a reputable law firm.
• Exposure or experience in the insurance space helpful but not required.
• Strong commercial litigation / arbitration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic results.
• Technical excellence, personal effectiveness, and ability to perform as a team player.
• Enthusiasm to contribute to and foster a positive team atmosphere.
