Job Summary: The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, electronic components, and manufacturing services required for antenna production. This role ensures the availability of high-quality RF components, metals, and assemblies at competitive prices while meeting production schedules and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure materials such as RF connectors, coaxial cables, PCB components, aluminum/copper parts, and electronic assemblies Evaluate and qualify suppliers for RF and telecom-related components, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards Request, analyze, and compare quotations to achieve cost-effective purchasing decisions Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms with local and international suppliers Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to support production timelines Work closely with engineering, production, and QA teams to ensure materials meet antenna design specifications Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery reliability, and cost control Handle supplier issues such as non-conforming materials, delays, and shortages Maintain accurate procurement records, BOM (Bill of Materials) updates, and documentation Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) forecasts Stay updated on market trends for electronic components and raw materials (e.g., metal pricing, semiconductor supply) Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procurement policies Requirements: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field 2-5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, preferably in electronics or telecom industries Familiarity with RF components, PCB assemblies, and metal fabrication materials Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory planning Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications/drawings Preferred Qualifications: Experience in antenna, RF, or telecommunications equipment manufacturing Knowledge of ISO quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) Experience sourcing from global suppliers (e.g., China, Southeast Asia) Basic understanding of import/export regulations and Incoterms
