Senior R&D Project Engineer (Medical Device), Singapore

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 6:00PM

Salary: Up to $8,500

We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Engineer to lead product development and innovation initiatives within a medical device manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for driving new product development from concept to production, managing R&D projects, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement and product commercialization.

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of new products from conceptualisation through production implementation
• Manage R&D projects, including project planning, timelines, milestones, risk management, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and production departments
• Conduct technical research, feasibility studies, and engineering analysis to support product innovation initiatives
• Develop prototypes and perform testing activities to validate product designs and performance
• Troubleshoot product and process‑related issues and implement effective engineering solutions
• Ensure products comply with applicable industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements
• Prepare technical documentation, engineering specifications, validation reports, and related project documentation
• Support product optimisation and cost reduction initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in R&D, product development, engineering design, or project management within manufacturing or engineering environments
• Proven project management experience in leading product development or engineering projects from concept to production
• Strong knowledge of product design, prototyping, testing processes, and final product development
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent design tools
