Description
The role is designed to raise awareness of Italian investment opportunities and regulatory framework, and to support Singapore-based companies in establishing or expanding their activities in Italy. It requires close coordination with the ITA Foreign Investment Attraction Office in Italy and with key Italian stakeholders, while reporting hierarchically to the Trade Commissioner of Singapore, to whom the FDI Desk reports.
No tacit renewal or automatic transition to an indefinite employment relationship is foreseen at the end of the 12 months. Should additional project funding be approved, an extension – of up to a maximum of 12 additional months – may be considered based on the candidate's performance evaluation.
The employment contract may also be terminated early due to force majeure or upon the occurrence of specific conditions set out in the contract itself.
The ideal candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties: Market Intelligence: market analysis and database development Lead Generation and Prospective Investor Scouting Promotion, Marketing and Events Support for Existing Investors Back-Office and Administrative Activities
Minimum Requirements: • Singaporean citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) • Proficiency in written and spoken English • Degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Finance, Law, Political Science, Engineering • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) • Working knowledge of major social media platforms (X, Instagram, LinkedIn) and online marketplaces • Knowledge of major specialised databases • Knowledge of the Singaporean and Italian economic and industrial landscape • Project management skills, including planning and budget management • Availability for work travels • No criminal convictions and no pending criminal proceedings in Singapore or in any other country • Tax residency in Singapore • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; meticulous work ethic and attention to detail; proactive and results-oriented approach; multitasking ability; ability to work effectively in a team.
