Medical Resident Physician, Singapore

Medical Resident Physician 5 days work week (no shift) Rotational On-call basis Salary up to $10,000 per month
Responsibilities As a Resident Physician, you will provide continuing care for patients transferred from acute hospitals, delivering medical care for sub-acute and rehabilitation patients through regular ward rounds and reviews. You will develop and update treatment plans, coordinate with allied health professionals, and plan for patients' eventual discharge back to the community. Your role encompasses maintaining medical documentation, responding to medical emergencies, and making decisions about patient transfers when necessary. You will play a crucial role in communicating with patients' families and ensuring continuity of care through liaison with primary care providers. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team of nurses, allied health professionals and administrators, you will collaborate to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Requirements Possess a
basic medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
from a university recognised by the
Singapore Medical Council (SMC) Have completed
housemanship / internship
with satisfactory assessment Completion of the MRCP (UK) examinations
will be a plus. Demonstrated clinical competence in managing
inpatient medical cases Ability to conduct
independent patient assessments , formulate treatment plans, and perform regular clinical reviews Competent in
medical documentation
and adherence to clinical governance standards Able to participate in
on-call duties
and respond to medical emergencies as required Ability to collaborate with
nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrators
to deliver holistic patient care
