Work location is at Jalan Tepong. Jurong West area, near Jurong Fishery Port. SALES & MARKETING MANAGER (LEAD RETAIL SALES & MARKETING)
As a Sales & Marketing Manager, your key responsibilities would include (but not limited to): To develop new business opportunities in Sales, BD and Retail through extensive networking. To capture market share and lead the Company to a strong leadership position in the Tourism Retail sector To achieve contact and collaborations with the different stakeholders in the tourism sector eg tour agencies, tour guides. Generate revenue among the contacts in the extensive networking, including through upselling and cross-selling to the different contacts in your networks. Planning and arranging contracts for the collaboration partners. Work with team to plan and execute tactical campaigns to drive sales, BD, online sales, partnerships, attraction and retail sales. Oversee Company's Above The Line campaigns and Below The Line advertising for retail and general marketing, including creative conceptualization, copywriting, brochure print, distribution management, campaign roll-out and performance reporting through close collaboration with Sales, BD & Marketing Department and Ops department, and marketing and media agencies. Work with Sales, BD & Marketing team to ensure consistency and accuracy in brand identity and brand marketing. Lead long term retail marketing strategies, provide market insight to create a positive perception of the brand (tourism retail), continuously push and maintain the brand's position as the Iconic No.1 Singapore Heritage Brand in food gifting souvenirs. Work closely with team and 3rd party vendors and designers on brand marketing, brand narratives, key messages, conceptualization etc. Work with team to develop trade marketing strategies and collaterals to maximize brand's presence in the identified overseas market, travel agent partners' platform and across MICE & Trade channels for Corporate, Special Events and Tourism. Manages and ensures efficient use of Trade Marketing budget to achieve shared B2B goals. Leads regional growth of assigned key markets, (eg. Japan, China, Asia, India) and proactive preparation for inbound marketing execution according to latest border measures. Partner with strategic alliances such as airlines, overseas banks, tour agencies, hotels, and content partners to create awareness for brand to secure pre-departure/advance sales in the identified markets. Work closely with Offline and Online Travel Agent/Platforms, ecommerce marketplaces and other Travel & Tourism e-commerce players to market and distribute our brand and products Formulate and implement sales and marketing campaigns in relation to tourism Monitor & track campaigns performance Ensure accuracy of online content for all our products Provide market intelligence on overall ecommerce and business trend of the region in relation to tourism Timely & accurate execution of pricing changes via the channel managers Perform online rate audits & resolve disparity disputes amongst partners Work closely with inbound agents and assist on their requests and meet set sales targets. Work with team to update weekly, monthly sales reports and assist with annual report preparation. Work closely with STB & In-market agents for business development Assist in bringing sales for special event promotion and able to conduct familiarization tours and site visit at Flagship store. Requirements Strong experience in Sales, BD & Retail Marketing. Strong experience in Channels Sales and Accounts Management.
Experienced and familiar with the Travel industry and/ or Retail industry. Experience in executing retail shops openings, events, pop ups and launches. Good at SEO and SEM.
Familiarity with Facebook/Instagram and Google Analytics. Familiarity with WeChat, Red Note (Xiao Hong Shu) and Tik Tok.
Has excellent command of English (written, verbal and interpersonal), and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. Has excellent command of Chinese (written, verbal and interpersonal), and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong in Microsoft Office is a must.
Strong in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator. Proficient in Graphic Design is a plus. Qualities A go-getter who is a strong team player with proactiveness and high initiative and a high level of dedication. Has ability to perform under pressure. Able to cope well in adynamic, fast pace and challenging work environment as well as with stress and demanding work schedules. Ability to work independently and completes given tasks with minimum supervision required. Self-motivated with the ability to identify key marketing and Public Relations strategies and marketing campaigns. Confident, meticulous, independent, creative individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness. Highly motivated and well organized with a sense of urgency. Ability to work towards tight deadlines. Preferably with own mode of transportation. Education A Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree. Minimum 2 years relevant experience Working Days/Hours: 5 days week Mondays to Fridays: 8.30amto 5.30pm
