ICT Security Strategy & Planning Specialist (Japanese Speaking), Singapore

(Job ID: 1417717) Responsibilities Drive enterprise-wide and group security initiatives using PDCA cycles to maintain and strengthen security posture. Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and strategies. Plan, execute, and evaluate security awareness and training programs for employees and executives. Provide security consultations to business units and coordinate cross-functional governance efforts. Design and oversee security risk assessments, management processes, and incident response activities. Collaborate with key departments to ensure alignment and compliance with security frameworks and regulations. Requirements Proficiency in Japanese and English for liaising with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and HQ. Minimum 5 years of experience in
information security planning
and
strategy development . Hands-on experience with
ISMS and/or ISO 27001 certification acquisition and operations . Strong knowledge of gap analysis using
NIST CSF and/or CIS Controls . Experience in security risk assessment, management, and incident response. Familiarity with information security regulations such as
GDPR and Personal Information Protection Act . Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects. Experience in planning and conducting security awareness and training programs. Basic knowledge and operational experience with IT infrastructure (network, cloud, servers). Professional certifications such as
CISSP, CISM, or Registered Information Security Specialist . Experience
developing internal policies and guidelines
is an added advantage. 3+ years of system operation and deployment experience is an added advantage. Ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and build consensus.
