Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers, providing strategic and technical guidance across customer engagements.
  • Own and oversee Proof of Concept (POC) and evaluation strategies, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Manage multiple sales engineering initiatives in parallel, aligning team activities with company objectives, revenue targets, and go-to-market priorities
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to assess customer needs, define technical strategies, and deliver tailored solutions that drive successful outcomes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and strategic sales engagements, supporting high-value and executive-level opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales, Product Management, and R&D by translating customer feedback into actionable insights that influence product direction
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to guide team strategy and customer positioning
  • Lead and participate in executive-level technical presentations, product demonstrations, and C-level customer meetings
  • Establish best practices, enablement standards, and performance metrics to continuously improve sales engineering effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading and managing sales engineering or technical pre-sales teams.
  • Strong background in customer-facing technical roles, ideally within sales engineering or solutions architecture
  • Demonstrated international experience working with global customers and cross-regional teams.
  • Deep technical expertise with the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity and networking concepts clearly to technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven success presenting solutions at national and international conferences, industry events, and executive briefings
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience and strong background in cybersecurity and network security
  • Solid understanding of Secure Service Edge (SSE) and SASE solutions
  • Extensive experience with the Salesforce CRM, including Opportunity and pipeline management as well as reporting customization
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a strategic and creative problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to travel as required
