We are currently recruiting Personal Medical Case Managers and looking for bright doctors who want to have a meaningful role.
General Job description:
The Personal Medical Case Manager is responsible for managing and supporting Patients throughout their medical journey. The role involves reviewing medical cases, liaising with medical specialists globally, providing professional medical support, and ensuring Patients receive clear information and appropriate guidance regarding their medical condition and treatment options. The Case Manager works closely with and internal clinical teams and case nurses to ensure high-quality service, continuous communication, and accurate medical case management.
Main Responsibilities:
Review and assess Patients medical records, diagnoses, and recommended treatment plans. Support Patients in understanding their medical condition and treatment options. Liaising with clinical research department and medical specialists globally to obtain their opinions, inputs, literature reviews and more to help guide patients in their medical journeys. Provide medical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding their healthcare options. Monitor the progress of medical cases and provide clinical input when necessary. Remain in on-going contact with the Patients via phone call, via the Medix App and/or email correspondence and conduct virtual video meetings with the Patients when necessary and possible, and also instruct the Medix nurse appointed to the Patient, to conduct additional telephone conversations, emails and virtual meetings. Ensure that all medical information and documentation are accurate and properly maintained. Maintain high standards of medical ethics, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Documenting all interactions and creating the necessary clinical reports in a computerised case management system as well as a CRM system. Confirming that the Patient receives and understands any medical summaries, test results or recommendations. Ensuring that all Medix medical policies and protocols are followed correctly. Participate in meetings with the Global Medical Director with regards to medical challenges and opportunities and medical patient / case reporting and analysis oof future needs.
Job Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid medical license. Clinical experience of 5 years out of which 3years in hospital or public healthcare settings (preferred). Experience in medical case management, telemedicine, or medical consulting is an advantage. Strong understanding of medical documentation and clinical decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse complex medical information and present it clearly to non-medical audiences. Strong organizational and coordination skills. High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered approach. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
