Logistics Coordinator, Singapore

Location: Pioneer Road (Walking Distance from Tuas Crescent MRT) Basic Salary: $2,500 to $3,300 + Transport Allowance + VB + AWS Working Hours: 5 Working Days Benefits: Performance Incentive, Annual Leave, Medical and Dental Allowances Job Scope: A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing the freight forwarding permit, from its preparation, application submission through to final inspection. Systematic and logical, the individual is also responsible for permit declaration and providing precise information to airlines, carriers, and co-loaders and customs at point of origin and destination. Other tasks include attending to customers' enquiries, and handling claims and cargo discrepancies. Responsibilities: To perform day to day warehouse activities and ensure proper and timely execution according to procedures
Perform Custom permits declarations for import/export shipment,
Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parities to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
Handling of customers' enquiries and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Control, update and maintain records for all stocks inventory and the movement of inbound/outbound cargos
Assist to conduct cycle count and stock check in order to ensure 100% accuracy
Supervise and review the operations activities and ensure compliance with SOP and customers' requirement
Any ad-hoc duties as reasonably assigned by the Operations Manager
Investigation of incidents and accidents and reports submission
Requirements: Minimum Diploma with 1 years of relevant experience in a forwarding/shipping company with warehouse experience.
Permit declarant license is preferred.
Possess experience as an authorized Declarant with Singapore Customs is preferred
Possess experience at a Licensed Warehouse is preferred
Well-versed with the rules and regulations of the Singapore Customs
Possess knowledge in warehouse inventory software
Able to work under stress and independently in a fast paced environment
Good communication skills
