Operations Executive, Singapore

(Job ID: 1492479) Responsibilities: Oversee daily vessel operations, including voyage planning, cargo coordination, and schedule monitoring. Coordinate with captains, agents, terminals, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth port calls and cargo handling. Assist in charter negotiations, contract management, and identifying chartering opportunities. Monitor market trends and freight rates to support revenue optimization. Support insurance matters, including negotiation with insurers (Hull & P&I), managing policies, processing claims, and preparing voyagerelated insurance documentation. Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Analyze operational data and prepare performance and market reports. Collaborate with internal teams to align operational activities with business objectives. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including HQ and brokers, and execute instructions as required. Handle operational matters relating to subsidiaries and affiliated companies. Requirements: Minimum 5-6 years of maritime operations experience. Strong understanding of vessel operations, compliance requirements, and maritime regulations. Experience with Japanese shipping companies or vessel registration work in Singapore is an added advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to multitask and manage operations in a fastpaced environment.
