Intern - Information Technology, Singapore

This role focuses on IT Security & Governance management procedures, split into three task groupings: Digitalizing IT Security toolsets, Elevating IT Governance & access oversight, and Improvement of Vulnerability Assessment processes.

• Establishing procedures for tracking IT assets (SSL certs, licenses) to ensure timely renewal and minimize disruptions to bank operations
• Assist IT in automation or AI-related projects to advance the objective
• Research and document best practices of IT Security & Governance topics and processes
• Revamp the bank’s access portal to integrate content across departments and document future maintenance
• Improve vulnerability assessment processes by documenting findings and establishing a tracking mechanism for remediation and operations
• Set up tracking of remediation from identified findings and report to the lead for follow-ups with respective stakeholders
• Establish a proof of concept for Vulnerability Management & Security Operations

• Collaborate with relevant PICs to understand and improve tracking mechanisms
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency of IT Security & Governance processes
• Coordinate with department personnel and communicate improvements to the reporting manager regarding the Bank’s access portal

• Promote ownership of responsibilities and provide materials to ensure easy future maintenance
• Carry out other duties as directed by Company Management

ITE, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

• Technically inclined (ability to understand code & syntax, perform setup/configuration)
• Strong communication skills (spoken or written)
• Documentation skills (proper sectioning, workflows, and diagram drawing)
• Domain knowledge in cybersecurity is a plus
• Available to start in June/July and commit on a full-time basis for 6 months

VBA (which is for Google App Script) is a plus
