Description
Responsibilities: Relationship and Account Management Building Client Relationships: Developing trust with prospective and existing buyers to understand their long-term business needs. Providing Customer Service: Acting as the primary point of contact for client queries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. This role includes participation in a 24/7 customer support on-call rotation as part of the team. Managing After-Sales Support: Conducting follow-up calls to ensure customers are happy with their purchase, which often leads to repeat business or referrals. Generating Leads and Prospecting Identifying potential customers through research and customer visits. Presenting and Demonstrating Products: Tailoring pitches and live demonstrations to show how a product or service solves a specific prospect's problems. Negotiating and Closing Deals: Handling objections and negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to reach mutually beneficial agreements while protecting company margins. Meeting Sales Targets: Consistently striving to meet or exceed specific monthly, quarterly, or annual revenue quotas set by management. Strategic and Administrative Tasks Conducting Market Research: Monitoring competitor pricing, products, and industry trends to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities. Maintaining CRM Systems: Accurately logging all client interactions, sales figures, and pipeline updates in software like Salesforce or HubSpot. Producing Sales Reports: Creating regular performance reports and forecasting future sales progress for senior management. Liaising with Internal Teams: Collaborating with technical and finance to align messaging and ensure order fulfillment . Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory). Proven track record in sales, preferably in Marine or related industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Goal-oriented mindset with resilience and adaptability. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
