Maintenance Engineer (12 hrs Rotating Shift), Singapore

Your role: Work with a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers and Assistant Maintenance Engineers to support a Wafer Fab Manufacturing Operation.

• Understand the performance and characteristics of Applied Materials Producer/Centura/Endura equipment and LAM Research Novellus during PM and CM cycles.
• Learn how to analyze the Maestria / Estar system.
• Learn how to troubleshoot the tool mechanically and perform basic electronics troubleshooting.
• Learn how to read electrical and electronics schematics.
• Study and learn all the toxic gas types used for CVD processes (MSDS).
• Contribute to key projects such as SMED or A3 workshops.
• Involvement in tool retrofit / improvement projects.
• Involvement in tool upgrades.
• Learn to install and reload equipment software.
• Learn to use analytical tools such as SMED and A3 methodology.
• Participate in 5S tool housekeeping.
• Able to update tool status systematically.

• At least 1 year of experience in AMAT Centura CVD/HDP Producer CVD tool or/and Lam Research Tool Novellus.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Able to troubleshoot independently and resolve complex issues.
• Experience in startup and relocation of tools.
• Optimise preventive maintenance frequency through hardware/process improvement.
• Setup external sensors to improve tool robustness.
• Implement cost saving projects through second source or hardware modification.
• Understanding of CVD processes, plasma and vacuum systems.
• General knowledge of risk assessment, 8D, Ishikawa, and root cause analysis tools is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
