Description
Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, development, commissioning and maintenance of Ship Management System (SMS), which includes:
Perform system and architecture design of Ship Management System (SMS). Perform system integration for SMS with third party systems. Perform, coordinate, manage and support of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to work (STW) and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT). Perform software configuration management and technical documentation. Perform hardware / software maintenance and troubleshooting. Liaise with customers, project manager and other engineering trades. Ensure operationality and functionality of SMS during the maintenance period of the vessel life cycle. Maintain close working relationships with customer, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Knowledge And Skills
Experience in Site Testing and commissioning. Knowledge in PLC programming and SCADA software. Knowledge in control & instrumentation, and control system design. Knowledge in computer administration, cybersecurity and networking concepts. Knowledge of standard industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J1939. Knowledge of international codes, Marine Classification/Statutory Rules and Regulations will be an advantage. Knowledge in Python, JSON, Restful, Machine Learning and Data Analytics experience will be an advantage.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Computer, those with other engineering experiences are also welcome. Some experience with system architecture design, system maintenance, and/or networking preferred Ability to work independently under pressure, as well as able to lead a small team Possess good communication skills to communicate with suppliers and customers at all levels Possess good analytical skills and good problem-solving & troubleshooting skills

Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided) 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
