RESPONSIBILITIES Job Description Reporting to the Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing, the Communications Executive will assist to conceptualise, develop, and implement corporate communications plans (external and internal), aimed at enhancing the image and reputation of the YTL PowerSeraya Group, and its subsidiaries, including Geneco. Responsibilities External Communications Assist in developing communications strategy in alignment with key business priorities Handle all media queries Develop press releases, FAQs, talking points, and narratives when required Develop media briefing documents, media interview facilitation and pre-interview spokesperson briefing when required Media engagements with key media (mainstream, local business, energy media) Research, identify and pitch for stories/interviews as appropriate Daily media monitoring to constantly stay ahead of developing digital media channels to mitigate risks or leverage opportunities Develop key narratives and ensure messages align Implement and deliver branding/image Act as one of the main points of coordination within the Group Assist in developing and managing the Group's initiatives Brand profiling and positioning as required Brand guardian of the company's branding and corporate assets Develop and maintain digital media presence LinkedIn account Maintain and update website contents Establish presence in the industry by aligning narratives about our business and participate in industry-driven forums, etc. Crisis Communication Act as central point of contact with Energy Market Authority's Communications team Oversee crisis communications with key stakeholders, including preparation and drafting of holding statements Internal Communications Drive and align information throughout the organisation Sharing and alignment of information about the industry, the business and the Group Communicate the Corporate Culture Communicate Management initiatives Foster Engagement and Productivity Create conversations through content - develop Communications Roadmap to address and manage various stages of behavioural shifts in people going through a change process for employee engagement Forge closer ties/bridging the gap between employees Leverage on all communication channels and create purposeful content Organise staff-building events when required QUALIFICATIONS
Job Requirements Possess a Degree with strong passion to work in the communications space Minimum 1 year of experience in Corporate Communications or PR agency fresh graduates will be considered as well Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and presentation skills Resourceful, and able to work both independently and in teams Strong interpersonal, time-management and organisational skills Creative and self-driven Please note that your application will be sent to and reviewed by the direct employer - Seraya Energy
