We are looking for a Project Officer/Research Associate/Research Fellow to undertake the responsibilities towards the development of new photopolymers and biomaterials.
Key Responsibilities: Operate nano-computed tomography (nano-CT) systems to perform high-resolution 3D imaging of samples.
Prepare, mount, and align samples for CT scanning.
Optimize scan parameters (voltage, current, exposure time, resolution) to achieve required image quality.
Perform system calibrations and routine performance checks.
Monitor scans and troubleshoot basic operational issues during imaging.
Reconstruct CT scan datasets using appropriate reconstruction software.
Perform image processing, segmentation, and quantitative analysis of 3D datasets.
Extract relevant measurements (porosity, defects, internal structure, dimensional measurements).
Generate technical reports, figures, and summaries of results.
Job Requirements: PhD degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Imaging Science, or a related technical field.
Basic understanding of X-ray imaging, tomography, or materials characterization.
Experience with CT reconstruction or analysis software (e.g., Dragonfly, Avizo, VGStudio MAX, or similar).
Experience with scientific data analysis software and image processing tools.
Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
