Intern, Trade and Commodity Finance, Singapore

We are looking for a Trade Commodity Finance (TCF) intern to support front‑office functions within the TCF business unit. The intern will assist with client management, transaction processing and credit administration during a six‑month full‑time internship starting July2026.

• Support the Account Officer in managing banking services and transactional trade finance products for existing and prospective clients.
• Liaise with clients on deal management and transaction requests, ensuring proposals align with the bank’s risk appetite and/or approved credit facility parameters.
• Coordinate with TMO and other departments (Risk, Operations, Financial Markets, and product partners) to ensure smooth and timely execution of transactions and completion of credit reviews/credit modifications.
• Assist with credit and operational tasks such as credit reviews, customer due diligence management, call reports, covenant monitoring and management reporting.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, assignments, reporting, commercial and client meetings as required.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
• Good analytical skills and keen interest in learning more about credit and trade finance.
• Resourceful, willing to collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Positive attitude toward challenging and difficult situations.
• Full‑time availability for a six‑month internship starting July2026.
