Crewing Manager, Singapore

Company /Department Skeiron Logistics manages a fleet of 4 heavy lift / multi-purpose vessels and is focused on providing a complete range of quality ship management services to its customers. More information is available at Company's website Primary Responsibilities - Crewing - With one direct report (Crewing Executive) A. Recruitment Assist insourcing & recruitment of all crew through manning agents for the Company managed vessels including preparation of employment contracts. Ensure that the crew are qualified i.e. meet the Company and flag state requirements with regards to certification and experience prior to joining the vessel. Oversee the end-to-end interview, selection, and recruitment process for all crew, including the preparation of employment contracts. Manage, evaluate, & audit manning agents in India, Romania, & Philippines. B. Day to Day Operations Plan &oversee crew schedule, crew rotation, sign on/off documentations, crew welfare. Oversee &approve crew payroll. Ensure crew's final accounts managed and paid on time. Liaise with Masters, port authorities, manning agents to ensure seamless operations. Ensure Crew Matrix and planning is updated on daily basis and followed up on. Ensure Crew documentation & certification kept updated via manning agents. Liaise with flag state on crew related issues. C. Performance Management and Crew Retention Define, implement, & monitor (KPIs) for onboard crew, ensuring continuous evaluation of technical competency, safety compliance, and leadership. Manage performance review process across the fleet to ensure objective, timely evaluations are completed upon every crew sign-off. Analyse crew turnover to diagnose root causes of attrition, develop retention strategies & career development paths for high-performing crew to build a loyal, stable talent pool. Hold international manning agents accountable for quality of supplied crew by linking recruitment performance to retention metrics & training standards. Act as the primary shore-based point for crew grievances, welfare concerns, &disciplinary issues, resolving conflicts promptly to maintain high morale &a positive safety culture. Requirements Preferably sailed as Master or C/O, crewing experience in a shore-based set up is essential. Organized & attentive to detail. Good interpersonal skills to manage crew onboard as well as to interact with team ashore. Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word. Possess clear communication skills, good analytical ability, with a consistent focus on quality.
