Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations. Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. Follow instructions and guidance from the Head Chef and Sous Chef. Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef and kitchen team. Maintain clear and professional communication with all team members. Ensure full knowledge of menu items, including recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards. Uphold strict food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times. Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and development. Assist in stock control, inventory management, and minimisation of food wastage. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area. Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Take initiative and demonstrate leadership within the team Requirements Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations. Good leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
