• Serve as the principal advisor, transforming conceptual ideas into actionable plans and leading global relationships with large strategic suppliers.
• Own the Global Relationship for one or more strategic suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact and \"one source of truth\" across processes and materials.
• Perform and participate in commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure strategic suppliers reach commercial development milestones.
• Lead cross‑category and significant company‑to‑company escalations, supporting category escalations for assigned suppliers as needed.
• Serve as the center of knowledge for assigned supplier(s), sharing insights with category teams to improve planning, forecasting and execution.
• Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple organizational levels, including Executive Leadership.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships, resolving supplier performance and capability issues in alignment with Micron’s strategic direction and code‑of‑conduct programs.
• Identify, implement and track supplier‑related savings levers, incorporating savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations and bundled negotiation strategies.
• Develop a contract strategy, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms, and coordinate vendor‑related initiatives with category teams.
• Co‑operate with Category Sourcing Managers to align RFQ processes and bundled negotiation tactics.
• Drive partnership with category teams to develop performance measures, monitor metrics and continuously improve supplier performance.
• Organize and deliver supplier events (Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Supplier Evaluations, Executive Review Meetings).
• Maintain a customer‑centric approach, manage conflict, build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and advise senior and executive management on strategic supplier decisions.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights to enhance efficiency and continuously improve supplier engagement.

• Engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in strategic supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract development, price benchmarking, and cost modeling in a global context.
• Proven experience in supplier qualification, performance management and cross‑category sourcing strategies, with a track record of delivering value through structured engagement and market intelligence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills capable of translating complex business challenges into actionable outcomes.
• Proficiency in AI and data analytics tools (e.g., digital procurement platforms, data visualization, AI‑assisted analysis) to support supplier insights and decision‑making.
