Trade Compliance Analyst, APAC, Singapore

The DePuy Synthes business is recruiting a Trade Compliance Analyst, APAC, based in Central Singapore, Shanghai, or Tokyo. Multiple requisitions are available under different posting numbers; applicants may submit a single application covering all relevant locations.

• Support APAC trade compliance activities in alignment with global trade policies and regional regulatory requirements.
• Review, prepare, and maintain accurate trade and customs documentation to support import and export transactions.
• Monitor compliance with customs regulations, trade controls, and internal procedures across APAC markets.
• Partner with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve trade‑related issues.
• Assist with classification, valuation, country of origin, and other trade data requirements.
• Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries related to trade activities.
• Maintain accurate records and data within trade compliance and ERP systems.
• Analyze trade data and identify trends, risks, or opportunities for process improvement.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Professional coursework or certification: in trade compliance or customs (preferred).
• Experience: 3–5 years in trade compliance, import/export operations, customs, or a related role (required).
• Working knowledge of APAC import/export regulations and customs requirements.
• Experience reviewing trade documentation and supporting compliant cross‑border transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries (preferred).
• Familiarity with Singapore and broader APAC trade regulations (preferred).
• Experience supporting audits or compliance investigations (preferred).
• Exposure to global trade management or customs software (preferred).
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience (preferred).
• English proficiency required; additional APAC languages preferred.
• Minimal travel; occasional regional travel may be required.
• Trade compliance, customs, or logistics certifications preferred.
