Frontend Developer (Web Application, React), Singapore

Job Summary We are looking for an independent mid-tier software developer to build user-friendly web applications, focusing on front-end design, development, and testing across the full development lifecycle.
Mandatory Skill-set 4–6 years of proven experience as an independent software developer with a focus on front-end web applications; Hands-on experience handling aviation-related projects; Proficient in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, PHP); Solid understanding of web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Experienced with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Svelte) and back-end frameworks (e.g., Node.js); Knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB); Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Desired Skill-set Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team; Portfolio of previous web development projects; Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus; Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization, is a plus; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Gather and analyze client requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications; Design, develop, and implement web applications using modern technologies with clean, maintainable code; Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure high code quality; Manage projects independently, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and proactive issue resolution; Communicate progress and updates effectively to clients; Provide ongoing maintenance, support, bug fixes, and enhancements for deployed applications; Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to improve performance and user experience.
