Ocean Operations Executive (Global Forwarding Agent) – Kallang, Singapore

We are looking for a proactive and customer‑focused professional to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the full shipment lifecycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency in meeting customer requirements.

• Maintain operational excellence by understanding shipping processes, documentation, and terminology from purchase order issuance to cargo delivery.
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions for internal and external challenges.
• Coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOP requirements, including booking approvals, pre‑alerts, government filings, delivery execution, and invoicing.
• Facilitate relationships with international team members and third‑party agents to ensure efficient service and problem resolution.
• Build strong customer relationships, respond promptly, and follow up on issue resolution.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in customer business reviews.

• High school diploma or general education certificate; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations, imports, or exports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and client‑focused approach.
• Effective follow‑up with customers and network.
• Critical‑thinking, flexibility, and problem‑solving skills to adapt to changing tasks and customer needs.
• High level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑moving environment.
