The position will involve computational modelling to derive the properties of composites materials. Details of the microstructure of a range of composite materials will be modelled, and finite element analyses will be conducted to obtain the mechanical properties of materials and understand failure mechanisms.
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed a PhD program in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and be proficient in stress analyses. Experience in finite element analysis is preferred.
