Maintenance Supervisor, Singapore

Job Responsibilities To support the maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment and company facilities to ensure smooth and safe operations in the food manufacturing environment. A. Machinery & Equipment Maintenance Assist in performing routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and processing equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues on machines such as mixers, conveyors, packaging lines, pumps, ovens and other plant equipment Support equipment calibration, adjustments and performance checks Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, parts replacement, and machine downtime B. Facilities and General Maintenance Carry out repairs and maintenance of company fixtures, fittings, utilities and building facilities (e.g. lighting, plumbing, shelving, doors) Assist in installation, setup or relocation of factory equipment or utilities Monitor condition of tools, equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation C. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping Follow workplace safety guidelines, lock-out/tag-out procedures and equipment isolation practices Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety standards (ISO, FSSC) and internal hygiene requirements Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance workshop and work areas D. Reporting & Coordination Report equipment issues, breakdowns and potential risks to the Supervisor promptly Update maintenance logs, service records and work orders accurately Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during maintenance work Work Hours: Full-time: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Standby required for Saturday overtime. Off-in-Lieu provided Job Requirements Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering fields 2–5 years hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, preferably in food production or manufacturing Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical and/or automation systems Able to lead small maintenance tasks and independent work assignments Experience with ISO, FSSC and food safety compliance is a plus Liaise with external vendors for all preventive maintenance and repair works Mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills Basic electrical knowledge (advantage) Ability to read mechanical drawings/manuals Effective communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work overtime when required Factory production environment Requires standing, lifting, bending and use of tools/equipment May involve work in cold rooms Occasional weekend or after-hours maintenance work
