Event Operations Manager, Singapore

Events Operations Manager Singapore (hybrid office role) Salary: $50 – 60,000 per annum + bonus My client is a global leader in business conferences with offices in Europe, Asia & the US, due to continued expansion a role has arisen for an Events Manager from the B2B conference space to work on the APAC portfolio of events.
Responsibilities: Pre-event correspondence with delegates and sponsors. Managing outgoing expenditure and maintaining accurate budgets. Negotiating, liaising and managing relationships with event venues and suppliers. Creating and designing event signage and exhibition floor plans. Sourcing branded items – lanyards, sponsorship inventory etc. Managing dinners, drinks receptions and bespoke networking events. Booking staff travel and accommodation. Managing onsite event teams and event registration. Organising onsite meetings between attendees and sponsors
Qualities, Characteristics, Skills & Experience Required: Ability to use initiative. Positive attitude Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers & clients. Good at working and communicating with colleagues on an individual and team level. Proficient at cost management and forecasting. At least 1 years' experience in the coordination of b2b events for 100+ people. Experience in managing exhibitions/sponsors. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Fluent in written and spoken English Outstanding customer service and communication skills Strong negotiation skills Excellent time management.
