Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer, Singapore

Responsibilities:- Develop M&E system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, etc.). Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants. Conduct feasibility studies Manage the implementation of M&E systems during construction. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams. Ensure materials and workmanship meet design specs and standards.and cost estimates. Supervise M&E works on-site to ensure proper installation. Perform inspections and testing of systems (e.g., electrical wiring, ventilation). Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues on-site. Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and international standards. Review risk assessments and method statements. Implement safety procedures related to mechanical and electrical works. Oversee commissioning processes for M&E systems. Verify that systems operate as intended before handover. Troubleshoot and rectify faults found during testing. Provide input into facility management and maintenance plans. Assist in diagnosing and resolving M&E issues in existing buildings. Recommend system upgrades or energy-efficient solutions. Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports. Prepare as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals. Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input. Requirement:- Bachelor Degree in related fileds At least 3 years related experience Familiar with Design Software, project management tools and etc
