Project Engineer - Electrical/Construction, Singapore

Job Description Project Planning & Coordination Plan, schedule, and manage M&E works in line with project timelines and budgets Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager Technical Responsibilities Review and approve technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Identify and resolve technical issues to prevent delays Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems Safety & Compliance Ensure all works comply with safety regulations and relevant codes of practice Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings Monitor site safety and address any hazards or violations Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, submissions, and claims Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimation Maintain accurate records of site activities and resource usage
Requirements
Qualifications:
Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or project management (construction industry preferred) Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and project management tools. Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and construction integration. Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Additional:
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
